DAY 21
On the way to France, we’ll stop in Pisa, home of the legendary Leaning Tower and we will definitely be snapping some of those goofy touristy photos trying to lean again it. Onto the French Riviera, stomping grounds of the rich and famous for centuries. The Riviera is made up of town after town of seaside resorts, including Cannes, Monaco (which is its own country), and Nice. Nice is the biggest, and will be where will spend most of our time.
DAY 22
We will get to know Nice, the most famous resort town on the Riviera. Our tour director will show us the Vielle Ville (Old Town), the Promenade des Anglais, and enjoy a long walkway that winds alongside the Mediterranean beach!
And the night Cody is MOST excited for…Monaco Casino Night! We’ll get a taste of the high life starting with dinner in the nearby town of Eze, famous for its medieval charm and hilltop views of the sea. Then head to Monaco’s swanky Old Town. After a stop outside the Royal Palace, it’s time to go inside the world-famous Monte-Carlo Casino. I can only image how much the buy in is at one of those tables…I might just be sitting back to watch Cody bring in the big bucks. Luckily, since there’s a strict dress code I have a dress that I wore to the 2014 Georgey Awards Show that I can throw in my suitcase, it won’t get wrinkled and it will be perfect!
